The SETAC Advisory Panel on Chemicals Management (CheM) works to promote science—informed decisions in relation to chemical management. As with every SETAC group, the panel’s composition is balanced so that it is international and multisector (academia, business, government, associations). Currently, the panel has been working on statements on behalf of SETAC to support SETAC representation on the UNEP Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG) to define a UNEP Science-Policy Panel for the Sound Management of Chemicals and Waste and to Prevent Pollution (SPP-CWP).
This affinity group is open to all SETAC members interested in the work of the CheM. Periodic updates and calls for input will be emailed to the group members by the chair.
